Users should be able to increase transaction volume or rapidly access whatever information they need with no effort and no prerequisite training using the final product. The goal of the project was to develop an intuitive Internet-based tool that would give employees and managers remote access to HR-related data in MyFordBenefits, allowing them to perform online transactions and evaluate their data. This meant that the rollout of MyFordBenefits HR Online was truly an enterprise-wide effort.
As a result of their quick start-up, they reaped substantial benefits from the data amassed by their American competitors (the needed groups did not convene until August).
